Overview
Kinnaur is about 235 km from the state capital, Shimla, located in the northeast corner of Himachal Pradesh bordering Tibet to the east. It has three high mountain ranges, namely, Zanskar, Himalayas, and Dhauldhar that enclose valleys of Sutlej, Spiti, Baspa, and their tributaries.
Lahaul & Spiti is a flourishing centre of Buddhism and has several famous Monasteries and barren snow-capped mountains with the clearest sky you will ever see. Apart from the unbelievable landscape of Lahaul & Spiti, it has a lot to offer too. Some of the top sights are Tabo Monastery / Tabo Caves, Giu Mummy, Kibber, Key Monastery, Kaza, Dhankar Monastery, Langza, Nako and many more.

Day 1Chandigarh to Shimla
Start your tour by reaching Shimla, and by reaching Shimla you can either choose to travel by road or you can take a toy train experience from Kalka to Shimla. Check into a hotel and rest. Later in the evening check out the feel of Shimla, take a walk on the famous Mall road of Shimla and enjoy the sunset from the Ridge maidan Shimla. You can also try local snacks or visit famous cafes. Return to the hotel and have a rest.

Drive from Shimla to Sarahan, a small town known for its Bhimakali Temple.
