Overview
Rupin Pass is a high-altitude pass across the Himalayan mountain range in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. It lies on a traditional shepherd and hiking route which starts from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ends in Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. The path itself is located across mostly uninhabited areas in the Himalayan ranges at an elevation of 15,250 ft (4,650M) above sea level. Rupin Pass trek consists of trails dug out of rock faces and wooden bridges, cut through deep dark folds in the mountain, glaciers and icy slopes, and over snow fields. Along the way, there are white Rhododendrons and an expanse of green meadows. This trek is full of surprises due to its drastic change in scenery.

Itinerary
Day 1 Dehradun to Dhaula (1580m)
(195km/ 7-8hr) drive from Dehradun to Dhaula.
Drive to Mori which rests on the banks of the lovely Tons River.
Arrive at Netwar, you can pay your respects at Pokhu Devta, an ancient place of worship.
Later on, proceed to Dhaula, an overnight stay at the campsite in Dhaula.

Day 2Dhaula(1800m) to Sewa(2100mTrek/ 3-4hr)
Start of Trek, along the way experience rhododendron woodlands and fields and captured their mesmerizing beauty.
Hours of walking and you will reach Sewa,

Day 3Sewa(2100m) to Jakha(2700mTrek/ 6-7hr)
Enjoy the way amidst mixed forests and initial sights of snowy ridges of the Dhauladhar range.
Arrive at Jakha, the final hamlet of the day which is also the highest in the region.

Day 4Jakha(2700m) to Suruwas Thach(3250mTrek/ 5-6hr)
Start trekking and experience the charming meadows of Suruwas Thach.
Traverse by the river and then climb amidst a jungle stretch to arrive at Rupin Valley's entrance.
One can enjoy the initial sight of the Rupin waterfall from this point.

Day 5Suruwas Thach(3250m) to DhanderasThach(3560m/ 4hr)
Walk through a steep trek amidst likely snow stretches till you arrive at the upper waterfall camping area, the view that will settle in your subconscious for a lifetime.

Day 6Dhanderas Thach to Upper Waterfall Camp(3-2hr/Steep Climb)
Beginning early, go through ascend snowfields as well as a rocky path to arrive at the pass.
The ascend might take you around 4-6 hours.
Witness summits of the Kinner Kailash range and those near Charang La.

Day 7 Upper Waterfall to Rupin Pass to Ronti Gad(10Km/ 11hr)
Long and strenuous climb downwards to Sangla.
