Bir is a rural village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. It's the paragliding capital of India and the location of the Bir Tibetan Colony, founded in the early 1960s as a settlement for Tibetan refugees after the 1959 Tibetan uprising. Bir is noted for several monasteries located either in the town of Bir or nearby. Mostly referred to as the "Paragliding Capital of India", Bir is also a noted centre for ecotourism, spiritual studies, and meditation. Lush green forests, cold streams, and the adrenal rush of paragliding capital await you.

Day 1Delhi to Bir Billing (11hr 40min)
The overnight journey takes you through some of the most scenic views as you travel to the majestic Himalayas to reach Bir the next morning.

Day 2Bir Local Sightseeing & Trek to Billing
Reach Bir Billing in the morning, after having breakfast, head out to explore the local village of Bir.
Visit the Chokling Monastery and Sherab Ling Monastery, head to Bir Local market for some shopping, and can also try out the local restaurants/cafes for some Tibetan cuisine.
After having Lunch at Bir, you can start your trek to Billing.
Overnight stay in the camps under the sky studded with stars in Billing.

Day 3Paragliding at Bir-Billing
Have a healthy breakfast at the camp, then embark on your way to the take-off point for the paragliding adventure.
With an altitude of 2400 m, Bir Billing is the perfect place to enjoy paragliding, Enjoy the crazy winds as you glide high in the sky taking in stunning views all around you.
Spend the rest of the day at your leisure and you can explore the local landmarks like stupas and monasteries.
