Overview
Manimahesh Lake (also known as Dal Lake, Manimahesh) is a high-altitude lake (elevation 4,080 meters (13,390 ft)) situated close to the Manimahesh Kailash Peak in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Bharmour subdivision of Chamba district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The religious significance of this lake is next to that of Lake Manasarovar in Tibet.
The lake is the venue of a highly revered pilgrimage trek undertaken during August/September corresponding to the month of Bhadon according to the Hindu calendar, on the eighth day of the New Moon period. It is known as the ‘Manimahesh Yatra’. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has declared it a state-level pilgrimage.

Day 1Shimla - Hadsar (412 km)
Today wake up early at 6 am and get ready for your journey to Hadsar (Chamba) from where we will start the trek. You can camp or sleep at hotels overnight and have dinner

Day 2Hadsar to Dhanchho (8km)
Today we will start the trek at 8 am after breakfast. It is going to be a steep climb toward Dhanchho which will take 4 to 5 hours. In the evening camp and rest overnight.

Day 3Dhanchho to Manimahesh lake (7km)
Today after breakfast get ready to trek to holly manimahesh lake at 8 am. In this part of the trek, you have to be cautious because the rolling stone piled one upon the other and a single movement can misbalance them, making them dangerous. Take a dip into holly manimahesh lake and move back to Dhanchho. rest and camp overnight.

Today after breakfast we head back from Dhanchho to our respectable destinations.
